Notes Bridging divides is more than just theory for me. I’m a first-generation, Bangladeshi and American-Muslim feminist, who is happily married to an atheist Alaskan. My work has been recognized by diverse organizations from The White House to Cosmopolitan, and I present regularly to local, national and international audiences. My award-winning work has impacted millions of lives -- from cutting-edge cancer research to community organizing. I spearheaded the sexual assault policy for one of the largest universities in the U.S. -- while undocumented! Now, as an American citizen, I leverage 14 years of successes in corporate and nonprofit communications strategies to train and inspire the next generation of activists. As the Founder and President of the National Organization for Women’s (NOW) inaugural virtual chapter, Young Feminists and Allies, I empower girls across the U.S. to create change in their own communities. Here are some angles I can offer advice/expertise/quotes/etc. Workplace Equity Proven Sexual Harassment & Discrimination Solutions Career Coaching for women Strategic Marketing and Communications Bridging Divides Enlisting Men and Other Unlikely Allies Interfaith Work Feminism / Activism Need For Intersectionality Within Feminism Young Feminists / Young Women's Leadership Combining Online/Offline Advocacy Violence Against Women /Gender-Based Violence Campus Sexual Assault / Title IX Domestic Violence LGBTQAI+ Muslims Rights Islamic Feminism Islamophobia / Racism
