Scientist Sara Isbell is an up and coming innovator in the world of neuroscience. As CEO, President and Cofounder of Novato, CA based Mercaptor Discoveries, she is on the cutting edge of the search for a cure for neurodegenerative diseases and traumatic brain injury. She is leading her newly founded biopharmaceutical startup through the development stages with the goal of creating an oral medication that will prevent the effects of brain trauma in people who are most at risk – athletes, military personnel – and arrest the progression of chronic neurodegeneration in conditions like Alzheimer’s, ALS, Epilepsy, Alcohol Withdrawal, Stroke and more.
