I'm a computational ecologist. I work with mathematical models, statistical analysis, big(-ish) data and novel software. These help me understand how environmental and human disturbances to ecological system structures affects their function over time and across space. I mainly work with the ecology, evolution and conservation of plants and animals with structured populations, but I also study the structure and function of urban ecosystems using population ecology approaches. I have aspirations to branch out and apply the same thinking to other study areas. |
